Are you an experienced and qualified Mammographer looking for a new and exciting challenge? InHealth is looking for a skilled Mammographer to join our Breast Screening team in Exeter. We provide a compassionate and high-quality breast screening service, helping women access the care they need through rapid and accurate assessments. You’ll work within a multi-disciplinary team that includes Consultant Radiologists, Associate Breast Clinicians, experienced Radiographers, and Mammographers, all following the NHSBSP’s principles of triple assessment: mammography, clinical examination, and needle biopsy.

What Will You Be Doing?
- Perform high-quality mammograms to screen women for breast cancer, offering essential early detection services.
- Participate in assessment clinics, including stereotactic biopsies, and collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for patients.
- Support and mentor Assistant Practitioners in their development, helping to elevate the entire team.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery while ensuring a high standard of care for every patient.
- Take advantage of the opportunity to undertake fully funded Advanced Practice Training to enhance your skills and career prospects.
What We’re Looking For:
- A BSc in Radiography and PG Cert in Mammography.
- Current HCPC registration.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of patients, providing reassurance and clear information.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and across organisational boundaries.
- A commitment to maintaining and expanding technical knowledge in breast imaging, staying up-to-date with best practices and emerging trends.
- An empathetic and patient-centered approach to care, with the ability to support women through potentially challenging times.
