About The Role

Job title: Booking Coordinator 

Hours: Monday-Sunday as per local rota, 37.5 hours per week 

Location: Fitzrovia CDC 

 

Introduction: 

 

InHealth sees more than 5 million patients each year and diagnostic imaging is one of the busiest services that we provide. 

We are looking for a Bookings Coordinator to join our Community Diagnostic Centre in London Fitzrovia who will support with the bookings, administration and reception work in the centre.  

Our centre focuses on providing an MRI diagnosis for claustrophobic patients and we are the largest and longest established operator of upright and open MRI technology in the United Kingdom, and we were the first provider to offer this alternative form of medical imaging to the general public.

 

As an InHealth Booking Coordinator you’ll be the first point of contact for all patient enquiries relating to appointment scheduling. You’ll need to be able to communicate with members of the public from a variety of different backgrounds and be able to rely on your organisation skills to meet the requirements of our patients. You’ll also need to be flexible to work in our weekly working pattern. 

 

What you are responsible for: 

 

  • Receiving and handling inbound calls from patients looking to book or amend an appointment  
  • Ensuring that patients are provided appointment dates/times suited to their needs  
  • Contacting new patients to remind them of their appointments  
  • Escalating any issues as and when they arise  
  • Maintaining appointment data on internal systems for reporting purposes  
  • Responding to and actioning emails where needed  
  • Maintaining and ensuring observation of robust quality assurance measures to meet national standards 
  • Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with all key stakeholders 
  • Any other duties as delegated by the Bookings Office Supervisor, Admin Manager, Service Manager. 
  • Working on reception as required
