About The Role

📍 Location: Jarvis Breast Centre, Surrey
📆 Contract Type: 30 hours per week
💰 Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 pro rata

At InHealth, we’re looking for a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our breast screening team. You’ll play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their journey, working alongside experienced clinicians in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What you’ll be doing:

✔ Supporting women undergoing breast assessments with professionalism and care
✔ Acting as a patient advocate, ensuring dignity and privacy at all times
✔ Assisting clinicians before, during, and after procedures
✔ Providing reassurance and post-procedure support to patients
✔ Preparing and maintaining clinical equipment
✔ Keeping accurate records while upholding confidentiality standards
✔ Ensuring a safe and clean environment in line with health and safety policies

What we’re looking for:

✅ A caring, professional, and empathetic approach to patient care
✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✅ Experience in a healthcare setting
✅ The ability to support patients in distress with sensitivity
✅ Basic IT skills and an understanding of data protection
✅ An interest in women’s health

Desirable but not essential:
✨ Knowledge of the NHS Breast Screening Programme
✨ NVQ qualification (or willingness to undertake)
✨ Understanding of health promotion
