As the UK’s largest specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions, our Digital team at InHealth continues to grow, to support our expanding range of services. Our Digital team is second to none, and InHealth is proud to be a great place to work.
We provide our diagnostic and screening services for and on behalf of the NHS and for the private sector. Increasingly, this is in dedicated facilities such as our network of Community Diagnostic Centres. Our customers want seamless digital integration, so that they can refer to us, get regular status updates, and receive the results, without resorting to manual processes.
That’s why we’re looking for a Delivery Manager, to join our Digital Implementation team on a full-time permanent basis. The Digital Implementation function handles implementing digital solutions for our customers and clinical services. For example, it will co-ordinate the opening of a new community diagnostics centre, integrate Trusts with our digital services, and work with clinics to make them more efficient using digital technologies. As a Delivery Manager, you will implement solutions for one or two customers in parallel.
What you will do:
A key aspect of the role is working with senior stakeholders in both the customer and InHealth to decide how we will implement our digital services. You will need to co-ordinate the implementation of the digital services, including product delivery, IG and Cyber Security, Architecture, IT Operations. You will also work closely with operational colleagues. In addition to this, you will be responsible for handling the successful implementation of digital services to our customer for diagnostics and screening. This includes:
- Problem solving – Although implementations are similar, each will have unique aspects that we need to address or overcome. This could be a different way of working with the customer, a new IT system to integrate with, or a new policy announcement from the NHS. Problem solving is a key part of the role.
- Communication and stakeholder engagement – This will involve customers (e.g. NHS Trusts), our supply chain (e.g. PACS supplier) and internal teams (e.g. mobilisation). You will communicate clearly and effectively and quickly build rapport with a range of stakeholders. You will understand when you can resolve barriers to understanding and when you need to escalate.
- Programme management and planning – You need to develop and execute a delivery plan that stretches 3 – 6 months ahead while also ensuring we can deliver in sequence each week. You will identify and manage risks to the delivery and will develop and deliver effective reporting to a range of audiences.
- Matrix management of 25 – 50 people across InHealth, our customers, and suppliers.
- Resource management, ensuring that we run within budget and have the capability and capacity to get the job done.
